If you use a metal clamp on a metal bar it will move around a bit since there's not enough friction. You can minimise the movement by hanging the ply in line with the centre of the bar.
If you don't want it to slip, drill a hole through the bar.
I would consider putting a square sleeve over the bar at the attachment points and fixing the ply to that. |
