Hey Victoria Climbing Community

A week ago today, 2 friends and I were climbing on Scorpion up on the bluffs. My friend who was seconding the route unfortunatly dislocated his shoulder during the route and we had to perform a rescue. As a result of this we left behind a large silver DMM cam with a quick draw extender attached and a small gold offwidth DMM nut with a quick draw extender attached.

I posted on this forum 6 days ago asking if climbers could look out for the gear and if anyone was going up to do scorpion, could they please return the gear. I had no reply or messages.

My partner and I went back to the araps this weekend and went up to the bluffs to get the gear back. However the gear wasn't in the route and no one has posted on here or left a message in the notice board around the pines. So it seems someone has taken the gear. I know magpies like shiny objects but I'm quite sure it wasn't them!

If you have this gear or know/hear of anyone who has retrieved the gear then please get in touch. We are travelling in Australia on a budget and would really appreciate the gear back.
