Different sized climbing shoes anyone?

Just been to visit my podiatrist. Good news: no toenail fungus. Bad news: toenails permanently damaged - probably from years of cramming into climbing shoes - but manageable. Life goes on.
Main story: he rekindled an idea I've had in the past about getting two different sizes of climbing shoes for my significantly different-sized feet (as a result of breaking the right calcaneus). Given the high cost of climbing shoes, I'm not interested in buying two pairs and only using half of them.
I've got a pair of 41 Miuras and a pair of 41.5 TC Pros. Both reasonably new - bought at the start of the trip I recently returned from. Best case scenario for me is a 41 on my left foot and a 41.5 on the right for both sets of shoes. Is there anyone out there in Chocky land who has the opposite?
If so, are you interested in either swapping shoes of similar vintage or sharing the purchase of a new pair of shoes?

I recently ordered a pair of Evolv climbing shoes and they let you order a split size pair for a couple of bucks extra. Might be worth a look. Just have to deal with the stigma of wearing Evolv.

Some brands like Evolv give you the option to order a split size pair for a few dollars extra.

If the brand you like doesn't offer this then I reckon just put up with half a size big on one foot. IMHO climbers worry too much about getting shoes as tight as possible. It sounds like you're used to uncomfortably tight, but if you tried shoes half a size bigger I think you'd find that it wouldn't make a difference to your climbing.

I could be up for trying out a mismatch. Currently climbing in 5.10 5X 43 because I can't get anasazis to fit right. Quite like the 5X, but.

5.10 anasazi VCS or blanco lace-up, I'd need US10.5 (44) L, US10 (43) R (damn they don't make a 43.5)

And I'm in Auckland. But always conspiring for an excuse to head for Arapiles.

While Nike is trying to make inroads into every 'extreme' sport they haven't made it into climbing just yet. In saying that I reckon if you climbed in Jordan 4's you'd have sick street cred.... I'd go as far as saying 'gangsta!'

You know what - youre not living in Utah now, and these things you do with your kids (no matter how much they love playing nude twister with daddy) are illegal.

I know its challenging during school holidays, ubt you are an "aussie" now so fit in or get fcked.

Geez you can be a tool. If that's meant to be funny, it's not. Mike is a great guy - he's even welcoming and friendly to spambots! If more people followed any kind of practice or religion that exercised such tolerance, the world would be a better place. But you'd possibly remain a tool.

It's an odd thing Mr stugang but there is evidence in Utah to suggest that things don't always work out as intended. Take this tidbit of information that Derek my M10 love came across the other day as an example.

MrsM10, Logan's a lovely place and there are some mighty fine Mormons buried up in them thar hills... If Brother Larsen was an old timer he probably didn't have to worry about keeping the women folk seperated...;)
