Hi all, just saw an article about the GriGri2 being recalled (yes, I'd call it a GayGay2, but this is serious) - apparently it can stick in the open position

Has anyone had their GriGri2 returned? I am still awaiting for mine to come back to me via the postie...
I am starting to think he/she may be a closet climber and has run away with my newer new grigri2

I got mine back in 4 days. I was blown away by how quickly this recall was effected; thanks Spelean.

Same for me...was less than a week from when I dropped it in the postbox to when
I got it back. Plus got a nice little email saying they received it, and a new one was on it's way. Thumbs up petzl!

We have sent replacements for nearly all the Petzl GRIGRI 2 we have received. We have recently received a small number of Orange Petzl GRIGRI 2, which we are not able to replace immediately, with Orange ones.

We received additional stock this week, but no Orange. We will be contacting anyone, who sent in an Orange Petzl GRIGRI 2, which has not yet been replaced, to if see either a Blue or a Grey one will be acceptable as a replacement. We hope to have stock of Orange Petzl GRIGRI 2 in the next couple of weeks.

Petzl understands that this is inconvenient and are working hard to ensure that everyone receives their replacement GRIGRI 2 as quickly as possible.
