I was at a local Sydney crag on Friday when another group of climbers notice some Dragon cams on my rack. I hadn't heard about the recall on the size 4 and 5s at that stage and two of my cams fit the bill. As it turns out these guys staff the Mountain Equipment stores in Sydney and offered to return the cams to DMM via the distributor on my behalf. Now that's what I call customer service extending all the way out to the crag, more so considering the cams weren't purchased form their store in the first place. Thanks Simon and co.

I've tried that trick a few times, but nobody ever falls for it.

the fact you're on this forum, and probably knew that they were recalled months ago, I question why you didn't return them yourself much earlier.

I don't know anything about zane, but his postings have been may, march and last december. given the amount of crap ... i mean, threads, that get posted here in a day, it's not hard to see that a thread can be easily missed (i'm on almost every single workday and i don't recall seeing anything about dragon cam recalls....)
He also explicitly states that he hadn't heard about the recall....
