Hi A group of us is planning to spend a month in Nepal next April/May climbing Lobuje and Kyajo Ri. I'm in a quandary about purchasing gear/clothing. Has anyone had experience buying gear and /or alpine clothing in Kathmandu? The company we are going with will supply a bunch of technical gear, and suggest shopping once we get there, but the pessimist in me thinks this is leaving a lot to chance. Any comments on pros and cons of various hard shells also appreciated. Cheers
