What about possessive pronouns like hers, ours, its, theirs and yours? No apostrophes there.
The possessive form "its" is one of the biggest stumbling blocks because people confuse it with the contraction "it's", which stands for it is or it has.
It's confusing isn't it when it's used in this form. It's got the whole English-speaking world going crazy, or maybe that's its purpose. |
