Hi
Lost a head lamp on Sunday night and left a cam on the same climb
We ended up with a little epic late in the day/night.
One of the head lamps went sailing off to the gods at a very bad time and the third climber could not extract a cam as his hands where shot and he was not coping totally well.

If you happen to have found the head light and felt like letting me know I would be grateful.
It is a petzle and was lost on arachnus below the last cave

It was a great climbing trip otherwise.

Sorry to hear about your gear and I hope you get it back, though it sounds like the basis for an interesting trip report!

yes the trip report would be amusing to some, at the time it had elements of physical and head space issues, but no safety issues.
Did amplify how when taking a team out you need to allow even on easy routes for a little moment in conditions or how someone may perform which can impact on the over all group.

Heres hoping for the head lamp and cam, but no huge drama.

Maybe a trip report will pop out

Are you going to keep me in suspense all day, or are you tell me which route has the cam in it?

sorry got distracted with work stuff!

Yep Arachnus very late Sunday Nite.
The cam is an oldie but a goodie and was stuck in the cave area, we or I chose not to go back for it as the group were a little all over the place at the end of the climb. and we needed to finish the last section and walk oy a light short of course.

Basically,
Three up climbing
Slow and steady taking care chatting enjoying the whole zone.
One of the team had circulation stuff happen for some reason in his hands and could not grip at all and it was one of hisa first days climbing above a top rope.

We were also getting a little lost in the route and hitting a few tricky bits due to getting off the "line".
Anyway, got to the last cave and discussion about rapping down started up which put further tension into the system.

Anyway we pushed on and got to the top without any incident at all, except my light and cam of course.

So theres the story, nothing amazing and maybe a few little lessons for us.
