Hi all. I'm looking to do a bit of snoe shoeing in the Vic. alps - namely Feathertop. I'm new to Melb and was wondering where I could buy some snowshoes down here? (Don't really need them where I come from - Brisbane doesn't get much snow). Thanks guys.
Cheers,
Dan

Check Bayswater Anaconda, used to work there a year ago (nt. don't work there) and we were trying to clear them out for half price but then gave up and threw them in storage somewhere...i don't see why they would've moved...

Go MSR Denali Ascents mate, they're the duck's nuts and well worth the coin.

Snow shoes are ridiculously expensive. I've hired them from the big ski hire shop in Myrlteford. Don't forget to get poles as well

I agree with Paulie on the Denali Ascents.
Any of MSR's ascent range are great - the Televator option seems wanky at first, but become all the
worthwhile on big uphill slogs.
