Wondering if anyone can recommend a good Sydney Physiotherapist who has an understanding of shoulders and what climbers like to do to damage them.
Having been rather lucky in the area of injury I have never been to a Physio before so recommendations would be most appreciated.
Cheers

A couple of years ago i was going a physio in North Sydney.
The Oval Physio & sports injuries Centre.
The Physio i was seeing is Katrina Pitt. I damaged both ac joints fairly bad in two different incidents. One partial seporation and a compression on the other side.
I found it really good to find a physio who actually understood that you wanted to be back out there doing your sport asap and have them work towards that.
Would go back there in a heart beat if i needed to.

I can second Oval Physio. I have seen Joel Werman there for years. They are great with shoulders and Joel has treated heaps of climbers - particularly boulderers who he reckons come in all the time with shoulder injuries.

+1 Joel fixed my wife's shoulder which fortunately was not too bad. I've been told he is the shoulder guy, apparently he sees a lot of kayakers and paddlers.

I've been seeing Stuart Pavely at Sydney Uni Sports Clinic recently. Although he does not specialise in climbers he struck me immediately as a really gifted and intuitive healer - unusual in my experience with physios.
For hand injuries Susan Dunn at North Shore Hand Therapy (North Shore Private Hosp) has more than a decade of experience dealing with climbing hands.
