At the risk of sounding like I take a grim pleasure in these things...

does anyone know how the chick who took a ground fall on lead at altona last night is doing?

Yes.

She is fine, no back injuries (other than soreness and mild compression) and at this stage no ankle injury but it's still a little swollen so it will be CAT scanned later today.

She only just clipped the floor, and our new flooring absorbed most on the impact of the fall. It was primarily a "rope stretch" fall, with a little extra slack in the system.

Her partner is also okay, although a little shocked I'm guessing.
Cheers,

Tim

Yes, thus showing conclusive proof that a particular piece of equipment is better than something else.

In many cases like this, rope stretch is a big factor. Either people are used to their own stretch or stretching outdoors, but maintaining proper stretch while perky penelope and bumpy brett are distracting you indoors is a challengs.

The only sane outcome to prevent this happening again is to ban rope stretch.
