A short story about sending the Turvasanat assis project in Martti Servo block, at Rovaniemi. The new line Voimasanat adds a sit start from lowest obvious holds and 6 hard and powerful compression moves to Turvasanat. The new line is one of the most beautiful lines in the Northern Finland. Rock quality is simply superb! Also the whole place where the boulder lies is absolutely one of a kind, especially in the evening before sunset.
This episode took about 11 days last summer and 20 days this summer, about 160 hours, more than 300 tries and about 13 000 km of driving until it was completed. Proposed grade 8B+, only time and repeats will tell where it settles.

I kind of relate to your sentiment when it comes to those genres of the game, but given the amount of bouldering vids that ajf comes up with, I assume he finds them inspirational.
Having said that, I can also relate to the (dare I say project?), climbs that gnaw the innards of your mind, until you 'send' them... The difference for me is the type of inspiration. One is just numbers to me, but the other is the 'line' that acts like a magnet regardless of the grade!
☺
This video does pose the question 'what is the most amount of shots or attempts have you spent on a problem or route?
At what point do you just give up or more on it other things.
I think the most I have worked a route was grape hour back in the day, 6 or 7 shots of three days.
I have been following Adam demmert progress on groovy, how many shots so far?
I really hope you sent it soon champ.

Recording bouldering takes a spare beanie and a point'n'shoot while recording climbing is generally harder and takes a lot more effort and gear.
I think that's why I find way more bouldering videos than route climbing ones. Nothing to do with them being particularly inspiring.

You don't ever find yourself thinking to yourself at the end of another search, "blerrie heck, all I came up with was another bouldering thing again" ?
I appreciate to you in such a nice suggestion & ideas. I like bouldering and mountains climbing which give me a chance to get break from daily routine working routine and live life in a different manner.
