Hi all!
My name is Monica and I looking for people to climb with in the blue mountains from the 26th of November 2009 until the 10th of Febuary 2010. I'm a brisbane nursing student who is moving down to the Bluies to climb over the uni break. I'm super super keen to be out climbing at least 5 days a week and I am available all day everyday. I lead up to a 20-21 comfortabily but like to try 22s and 23s. Hoping to be pushing 24s when I leave. I have lots of sport experience and have climbed in the Bluies before. I have a full sport set up and personal climbing gear. I will be staying in Katoomba until the 1st of January and then hopefully in Blackheath until the 10th of Feb. As yet I don't lead trad but am totally totally happy to second. Have done mostly single pitch climbing but would love to get some multipitch experience on some of those Bluies classics! I am really friendly, super safe and a 100% keen climber. I don't have a car but am up for walking/train anytime! If your keen to get in touch and maybe organize some climbing you can e-mail me at hedgehogs_ate_my_freezer@hotmail.com.
Cheers, cheers, cheers! Monica :)

I'm afraid to inform you that young, capable, enthusiastic women looking for climbing partners on this site rarely get any replies. But maybe someone will take pity and help you out.

maybe this guy can help
Seriously though, I try to climb 3 days a week in the blueys, but on irregular days, so am often left short
of partners as most people seem to be weekend warriors. Climbing similar levels but I only clip bolts by
accident.

Hi Steve!
Thanks for reading my post.
Sporadic days are totally good for me! I don't need much notice either as I'll just be hanging out hoping to climb everyday. Totally committed to being a climbing bum with no job and no where to be except on a rock. I leave Brisbane in 3 weeks to head to Araps and then on to the Bluies on the 24th. Is it ok if I msg out closer to the date to organize a meet up or something?
You might give me a heart attack if you decide to half solo something but I will just try not to form an attachment to you.
Cheers!

Good answer. Working is for losers.
nice one, if I were you I would stay at araps, and the gramps, then again, it will be too hot in the desert that time
of year.
Drop me a line closer to the date.
Cheese!
