Rudi and Olaf are climbing Federation Pk at the end of July. We are looking for a lift to Scott's Peak
Dam, 3 hrs drive from the Ho', on either the afternoon of the 21st, or the morning of the 22nd of July.
We will pay petrol (both ways), and $150 (negotiable) for the lift.
Cheers, O

Thanks for the lift Alex.
We got out in one piece! Took us 9 days - with one full day tentbound at Berchervaise, and a couple of other half days (flooded creeks down low, terrible weather up high). We didn't get a window to climb Feds - only just got a 3 hour window in the weather to cross the Southern Traverse from Hanging Lake to Bechervaise: a fair bit of snow/ice and gusty wind - the ice axes were certainly worth the weight!
BTW: if anyone finds a pair of Charlet crampons somewhere in the lower Moss Ridge forest then they are probably mine - though likely rusted to hell by the time someone else walks that way!
