Hi! I have the whole month of April between jobs to climb, just need a climbing partner!

I'm 24year old female. New to climbing but can just about manage an 18 on top rope. I have some gear and a car.

Looking for someone who knows what they are doing to 'show me the ropes!'.

Am currently based in Sydney and climb at St Peters if you want to meet up.

Since I am on paternity leave 'til May (sounds bizarre but 4 months leave - paid - can't be bad!) I need to have my daughter introduced into childcare by mid April.. or early April... or March or sometime

So when she is in childcare in April I am going to be about for some local climbing, thinking Narrabeen to the north, Bluebell/Bangor to the south or antything in betwen. I was planning to put something up on this forum about April, but you beat me to it. (might make it to palm beach but a bit of ahike from Glebe. PM me if u want to sort out some times nearer to April.

In the meantime I seem to have sorted a wicked routine of getting Sasha to sleep in her pram at St Peters at about 2 thus leaving me free to climb on the autobelays for about an hour and a half. So if anyone sees a crap climber meandering around on autobelays above a red pram - it's me and I'm sorry!

ps: I have a bucket load of ger and shit - and a car - and a map! What could possibly go wrong!

>What could possibly go wrong!

Could be a bugger trying to get a pram to Palm Beach, or if in childcare trying to get from Glebe to Palmie and back before childcare closes?

Maybe ... ~> What could possibly go wrogn?
Heh, heh, heh.

On a business trip to Sydney in second week in April, looking for climbing partners 3rd week in April (Blue Mtns?). 38 y/o American female (I'm from California), climbing about 3 years, trad lead up to 5.8 (16?) sport up to 5.10s (20?). Have lots of gear but would prefer not to lug it all on the plane! Would be good to meet up at a gym first.

When do you arrive in Australia??? We should get in touch when you do. I want to spend a bit of time in the blus but also want to get down to the araps and/or the gramps.

I arrive Sydney 13 April early AM (I guess that's the 3rd week in April, actually), have work stuff through the 17th (except I'm off Wednesday the 16th), would be interested in climbing Blue Mtns between the 18th and 22nd, return flight to Cali on the 23rd.

I get kicked out of my house on the 13th so will have to head out of Sydney, but I may well be the Blues when your around. I only have harness and shoes at the mo, am waiting to see if I can afford more gear or if I can get away with just hooking up with people that already have it!

Arapilse is the place to be over easter- though I hear the blueies are good too.
A bunch of us guys and girls will be heading down to Araps from 20th - 27th of March.
Lots of us are from QLD some from Tazzy and the rest from Victoria.
We all have our own gear and are happy to climb with anyone who's up for it.
Have a look at the Qrank forum for other details about what we're up to.
