Heya, Im a 22 year old American girl coming to Australia for around 4 months this December. I do a bit of climbing back in the states and brought my shoes and harness with me. Im looking to get into excellent climbing shape by March or April and am looking for climbing partners in either the Perth or Melbourne areas. I´ve been traveling for awhile and am flat broke so if anyone knows some rock gyms i could volunteer at and climb for free, that would be great as well!!
Thanks!

There is a free bouldering wall at burnley if you want to train, otherwise you could go to a climbing area
and dirtbag for a while trying to hook up with other climbers who have the gear, but gyms won't give you
free climbing for volunteer work, do you have a route setters certificate, or some accreditation as a
climbing instructor? if not then you will find volunteering impossible, I would go for the options I have
outlined at the start of this post if you are serious about getting into "excellent shape"

I am quitting my job at the end of december and planning on climbing for most of january. It would be nice to have an extra climbing partner as most of my climbing partners work during the week. PM me if interested. (located in Melbourne).
