Hi,
i am looking for a climbing partner in Melbourne. i fly in on the 18. of Nov. and will be around for a few weeks.
i prefer climbing outdoor but indoor is fine, too. will be available all time during the week and the weekends.
for information, i am from Germany and want to climb as much as possible in Australia. Here in Melbourne i would like to climb in Arapiles and Grampians. i although want to visit Nowra and the Blue Mountains.
looking forward to hear from someone....
if its not possible to find a partner i am thankful for any advice

Available all the time and want to climb as much as possible? Either canvas here for a lift or hop on the vline train/bus to Arapiles and live in the pines for a few weeks.

I want to say that i have time during the week, too not only on the weekends! I haven’t been in Australia before so I ve got no glue about the the climbing there except what you can find online…
I ve got a rope quickdraws and some trad Gear. with me.
My question is can anyone tell me where to go first or can tell me a nice plae to camp close to the climbing something like this.
Thanks so far
Ben

Camp in The Pines at the base of Mount Arapiles. It's $5 a night and there are not many places that you can camp closer to the climbing.
There's loads of people to climb with during the week and on weekends. From there you should also be able to organise day trips to various Grampians areas with people too.
