Hi. I'm new to nsw and spend most wknds up in the bluies. Climbing between 17-20. just getting back into lead and trad and trying to re-build confidence after recovering from a smashed ankle (silly bouldering fall).
I'm based in northern beaches but got a car and also full trad rack and rope.

I live in Cremore. I have been out of action for 2 years. I would prefer a longer classic trad route. phone me on 0437302757 if you fancy a day out on Sunday.

Hi, I'm also pretty new to the area (living in gladesville climb a couple times a week in the blueys if I can) , I have most standard gear for sport multis and a couple of ropes including twins/halves but I know little about trad climbing(want to know more).I'm keen to do some belaying and go for some adventures if your up to teaching me a thing or two about trad. Getting over a broken ankle sucks but trad is the way to go as you can basically top rope your way to the top on lead. With sport the bolts are fixed.
I climb most weekends in blueys and people are welcome to join myself and whoever else comes. Only requirement - you know how to belay properly ( I have seen some shockers and don't relish any more time in hospital ).

am i the only one who doesnt understand that statement? i climb trad an i am either on lead or second. toprope is another thing altogether.
if you are talking about lacing up climbs then i often find trad doesnt always allow it , and if it did i would need two racks to kinda feel like i was toproping but still with fall potential.

Anyone who climbs cracks knows what I am talking about. Obviously it does not work on spaced horizontal breaks.
So to make it clear - place some gear above the head , climb up to it , place some more , repeat. Healing the mind often takes longer than the broken bones.

Hey I just moved to oz from the states and am looking to get out and climb the area as much as possible! Mostly available weekdays (if that works for anybody), on the weekends I'm working as a sea kayak guide. Left the rack at home as I didn't want to travel with it, but brought draws and a rope and am willing to trade leads on trad too. Prefer long stuff, but am stoked to climb anything! Down to drive or split petrol. Don't hesitate to call/text if anyone wants to get out there
