Hi, my rock climbing partner had recently got pregnant, so she can't climb anymore. If anyone is interested in doing one or 2 nights a week at St. Peter's indoor gym in Sydney hit me up... I haven't been back in about 3 months so probably a little bit rusty, climbing 16-19 rated climbs.
Cheers, karolina

I voted no. I live in Melbourne and don't gym climb. It could have been love, we will never know.

My wife climbed until 8 months, you can get a slightly uncomfortable harness that doesn't cross the waist: http://www.mountain-mama.com/products/the-mountain-mama-by-mad-rock
Tell her to get in while she can - it gets harder down the line..

That's awesome I didn't know such a thing existed! Well she climbed until she was about 4-5 months because she wasn't really showing, but I think she just became really paranoid after that and didn't want to climb anymore.

It's a personal choice, some people are totally opposed to anything remotely active.
Most doctor's say it's safe to excercise at the same level you did before you were pregnant.
Obviously impact is a bit of a concern - so you'd need to stick to stuff you're familiar with (though my wife and I toured Europe, South America & NZ while she was 4 months & did a lot of climbs on assorted rock we weren't familiar with - like I said, it's a personal choice!)
There's a lot crazier things she could do...

Hi Yuri,
I haven't found anyone yet... I would like to start going about once a week... Probably Tuesday or Thursday nights or a weekend day is best for me... Does any of those suit you?

Hi,
Not sure if you are still looking?
I am just a beginner (since Christmas; just starting to attempt 14s). But if that doesn't bother you, I am keen for a regular partner at St Peters.
Feel free to get in touch- 0405 745 734.
