Hey Climbing-Partner!
YES YOU!!! Where have you been sooooo long? I've been looking for you FOR ETERNITY O.k.-just felt like, maybe it's just over a week now ;-) I wanna go climbing!!! So give me a call - as soon as possible:
Tel.: 0421 653 721
or mail me: kathrin.loebl@gmx.de
O.k. I'll give you some "serious details" now:
I'm travelling round the world for 4 months. I'm gonna be in Australia until the 11. Nov. 2013. At the moment I'm staying @ a hostel in Melbourne, but I would love to go climbing in the Grampians and/or Mt. Arapiles a.s.a.p.! I only got my harnest and shoes with me. I can follow sth. between grade 9-14 (if my grades converter told me right; USA 5.6 - 5.8 or UIAA 5 to 6-).
Don't have a car, no money to afford an expensive accomodation, but I got my "bed" with me (Thermarest and sleepingbag) I'm just a poor girl that wants to climb ;-)
I could pay with some good advice as a sportstherapeut if you have some orthopedical climbers problems (climbers always got something that hurts, right?)
So I hope to hear from you soon.
All the Best, Kathi

Gee Stugang, you obviously have incredible powers, because here I am! And guess what? I need a sportstherapeut too, having just injured my shoulder paragliding. Unfortunately my shoulder injury means I can't climb... Catch-22.
If you can mend my shoulder Kathi I will definitely go climbing with you (for a day or two), but I suspect you will get some better offers.
PS. If you make it to Mt Arapiles you should be able to find a few people to climb with.

Catch Vline train to ararat and get a bus connection to horsham, and then get the bus out to arapiles - Should be super cheap and you can boulder and set your tent up there

Damn it! Now I miss climbing with Mr. Big Bad Handsome Man (Simey) and Mr. Incredible Powers (Duang Daunk) :-)
Thanks for your funny post anyway - now I got a catchy song in my ears and am a Fan of Imelda May - which I've never heard before. Good voice that girl!!!
I already found some people who might go climbing with me, got a lift to Arapiles - will arrive there this monday, got a borrowed tent and eventually a lift back beginning of November.
That proofs once more, that climbers are really friendly and helpful people!!!
If you need a sporthstherapeut session anyway, you are more than welcome, Simey! But then you would need to come to the Arapiles! But don't expect your shoulder to be better after one hour - shoulder injuries are one of the injuries that take most time to cure, a lot of work, effort and patience (I can also tell by my own experience!!!)
All the Best,
Kathi

Thanks for your advice - luckily I got a lift there and back now by car. But it might be helpful still, if one of them would cancel...
