If anyone is heading to Buffalo and needs a climbing partner let me know. I live pretty much at the bottom of the mountain. Work is a bit sporadic at the moment but free most afternoons.
Have all gear etc.
Cheers

Hey tshaw, is it on the left coming from Wang or Bright?
~> Have noticed a ski and snow chain hire shop on left coming from Wang, but never been in there... so don't know if it the place referred to.

it is just as you come into porepunkah from myrtleford direction on the left hand side. Big A frame looking ski shop.
Open all year round as i am running white water kayaking and climbing tours.
Drop in if your passing through.
Soon to be stocking a small range of climbing equipment that suits buffalo climbing.

Rps and Rurps for sure, its all you need. haha. maybe a few grappling hooks in case.
yeah Dave knows. Dave and my boss have known each other for a long time now and I have had a few chats to Dave and his son James and all is good. I send people to him for the caving side of things and he sends me kayakers. Good relationship so far.
They dont do much on the climbing side of things but primarily focus on Abseiling. I do both with a hope to build the climbing side up. much more enjoyable for all involved.
You get out this way much?
