I'm new to climbing and live in Sth Gippsland (unfortunately it seems) and am looking for climibing opportunities / courses etc around Gippsland - any contacts would be greatly appreciated.

There's not much climbing in South Gippsland. When I lived in Wonthaggi, I mostly climbed in the Grampians, and occasionally in East Gippsland.

I guess you could do a bit at Wilsons Prom.

Paulie might have some suggestions.

Hi Digger,

I've lived in Traralgon for a year or so and gave up looking for anything enjoyable locally, especially if you are a beginner, what I have found has been super-sketchy. Wilson's Prom has some granite slabs though and there are some slabby boulders up in the forest around Mt Baw Baw if you like that sort of thing.

I built a woody and hold out for chances to get to the Gramps.
