Weather forecast looks great - for Sunday! (Better than Saturday!)
I'm going to head down from Sydney around 5pm Saturday night, camp at Island bend, ski Perisher Sunday and drive back ~430pm. If you're interested in coming down and sharing petrol with me PM me.
(Petrol in my car ~$70 for the return trip)

Am at Charlotte Pass. Pissing down all night. About 4 deg. Very soggy. Lots of snow on range but like wet cement. Temp forecast to drop sat.

still on verdicts with hammerheads and the equivalent BD boots of the scarpa t2s.
very comfortable boots.
quite sick after completely running myself down last weekend at the snow - still have a headache. Won't be heading down even though another 16cm fell overnight with more snow forecast today, tonight and tomorrow. This weekend would be a great weekend. Won't be heading down again until mid-august.
