Ride to Arapiles from Melbourne?

Hey everyone,

I'm an American planning on living the climbing bum life for a couple weeks between semesters of school at the Arapiles. I fly into Melbourne on Jan 1st...wondering if anyone else happens to be driving that way early afternoon sometime? My flight gets in at 11:20am...a ride on saturday would be ideal, one on Sunday would be stellar as well, can of course pitch in some cash. As is, I just intend on staying at a hostel Saturday night and taking the train/bus to get to Horsham and hitch from there on Sunday...getting in a day early would get me another day of climbing though! lol. On another note if I can't get to the Arapiles til Sunday...if anyone is going to bored in Melbourne Saturday night, I'd love to talk about climbing with a beer downtown somewhere. And on a third note, I will be in the market for climbing partners at Araplies from ~ Jan 2nd -13th. This will be my first experience with the area and the grade system but I'm pretty sure I can handle up to 18 confidently and jump on 19-20ish most likely. Let me know!

Hi zenny, I'll be heading to Mt Arapiles on sunday 2nd - 6th but coming from Adelaide so can't help with a lift but if you bus it to Horsham I can pick you up from there. I'm keen to catch up for some climbing. Will PM

I'm leaving Melbourne on Saturday afternoon or evening and there is still room in the car.

I'll probably be climbing with a mate but you'll be able to make friends pretty quick at the campground.
