Come on guys where's the poetry?
you could have said:
Got to Springwood, the sky was black,
our only option was to turn back.
and
WA is the place for desert fun
it never rains, climb in the sun.

Haikus. Please explain their appeal? Never understood what their charm is.

Sorry, ozone. Maybe this is more your speed...
Two blokes in a car stopped at Springwood
Looking for somewhere to climb good,
But the Wollemi pines
Where the sun doesn’t shine,
So they bailed like any good woos would.

Haiku games are fun!
But occasionally they
wander off topic.

yeh, call me simple, but I'm sticking to my guns. Poetry's great and everything, but haiku's are just shitouse.

As is your misuse of the apostrophe... The haikus don't own anything and it's not a contraction, therefore there is no need for the apostrophe.
