Thanks for sharing - looks great! Really reminds me of some of the excellent climbing in South Africa around Waterfal Boven. Similar fine grained block sandstone.

Haha, you got me on that one. That was one of my early routes and needed something for all my sport-only friends to climb. Latest route is a 25m, 24 with 5 bolts and gear.
It's an magic place, if anyone is ever up this way and wants to climb get on touch.
Cheers

Great photos.
Can you or anyone give me advice. I am going to Katherine (katherine gorge packraft/Jatbula trail) in about 6 weeks. Darwin airport to Dawin distance. Where is the train station compared to everything else. Where is a supermarket and bottlo along the way. Is there noticable price differences between Darwin and Katherine? How bad are the bugs? How much does a carton cost up there?

Shortman, I am quite lost as to what you mean.
I do want some simple Darwin tips, never been there and google doesnt rate it when you want to know where to really go.
BTW, even though I didn't get what you were on about, great sledge.

So, it seems the first 5 photos are all of the same route (which looks good but is really wet!), while the 6th photo is of a different route which looks like a piece of crap. Was that crag more heavily weighted towards seepy good routes, or dry crappy routes?

Yeah it's terrible, really bad climbing. Especially since all the routes are wet in the middle of the dry season an it hasn't rained for months.
WWS I will send you a message answering your questions.
