Palm Beach, Sydney with the kids

The family and I stayed on the Northern Beaches in Sydney for a couple of weeks over Christmas. We went down to Palm Beach to check out the boulders - nice rock and interesting problems for an old bloke, nice stuff for the kids to play on too with a very safe environment. Leleana, my four and a half year old cranked harder than I did!! No fear!!

A great location and really good climbing. I take my little brute there once in a while too.

"Little brute" -- surely he inherited some redeeming characteristics from his mother? ;-)

Fortunately for him, Kevin, he does look like his mother. However, he is a bad-tempered and belligerent little devil (don't know where he gets that from), basically a 2 year old Attila the Hun or One Day Hero.

Mulch's ankle-snappers look quite agreeable.

Surely this is photo of the week material! Bouldering or no - that's a great photo.

If you do an age comparisson - She's crankin' about 4 times her age in grades - far more than any of us could hope to do!

Are you trying to tell me One Day Hero is not 2 years old??

Given he has learnt all the rude words, I would think closer to 12?
