Greetings from Skardu. Thwarted by heavy snows but for those interested, I have written up a few notes here on our trip to BP:

Are you going to try the Golden Pillar?

One of the best lines I have ever seen (in a photo).

Mick Fowler is hard as nails. Vic Saunders is pretty useful too

pretty sure that brad is guiding the standard route on spantik for field touring.

Yeah, I have 5 pitons, so will see how we go. On second thoughts, I'll fb Vic and see if that is enough.

isn't it what. It is on the cover of a book I have, Can't remeber the name but it's about failed attempts.

I'd never heard of this route (or mountain before). Looks wicked. Those guys were hardcore with typical English understatement.
