We had a perfect 2 days at Mt Buffalo over the weekend. It was Jacqui and Timmys first taste of Buffalo granite - not sure that they will be back! Pretty picture gallery of Body Heat (25), Hard Rain (22) and The Dreaming (23) is here...

Apparently Nathan Hoette was up there over Christmas/New Year and got spanked left, right and centre. It was left to those old timers Steve Monks and HB to show him how it was done. Buffalo is an acquired taste indeed.

Lets just say mr nathan didn't want to try the sharp end after his attempts on a route at least 12 grades under his limit managed to spank him!

C'mon Monty, what's the story? I heard it multiple-hand so I have probably got the wrong end of the stick.

I am surprised you would indulge in 'Tall Poppy Syndrome' BA!! Someone has a bad day and the next thing it's major gossip...

Arapiles - a white wine, sweet and easily consumed, popular with occasional drinkers
Grampians - beer, varies in quality from place to place, some great pilseners down in the vic ranges, guiness in the south eastern, lagers down near dunkeld
Buffalo - a nice deep red, those with an unaccustomed palate often suffer the day after and swear never to return

Superstu---you oughta take a sip from THE CAULDRON sometime. Like ' a nice deep red...' , it'll have you sh**ing thru the eye of a needle !!! ( if ya don't know how to 'experience' it properly). I suspect a 'certain person' , is still putting ointment on their 'ring-of-fire' !

The sweetest taste! :)

I think everyone who goes to Buffalo gets spanked on something or other, I've seen some very good climbers get spanked on some 'easy' routes up there, one just needs a different mindset is all.

I reckon you would've had some epics there too mate! ;)

When the going gets tough at Buffalo, the tough go to the Chalet and get a milkshake :D
