Climbing in the Blueys cancelled for Easter.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad tidings but climbing in the Blue Mountains has been cancelled for the Easter weekend by Mother Nature due to the presence of water and expected increase in usage over the weekend. Chains are to be set up at all belay stations. Camping will still be allowed but alternative accommodation will be hard found. I suggest staying at home. Hope you all find somewhere else to go and have a good Easter weekend anyway. Here's hoping for a warm spell and dry camping in the mountains over Easter in the future.

I climbed at the Coal Mines on Saturday, was dry enough then.

Agreed. I was at the Coke Ovens on Saturday and it was mostly dry but drizzly. Got rained off a slab in the afternoon.
