Hi All,
Good news for those planning to head to Rosea for Easter. There will be 5 of the official bush campsites opened in the Bundaleer and Rosea area. They are Tower Hill Bush Camp (4sites)and Stony Creek Rosea Track(3 sites) - These two camps are in a Conservation Zone so only fuel stoves allowed. Rosea Views(3) Stony Creek Rd Two(2) and Stony Creek Rd One(4) are in a Recreation Zone so fires are allowed in the fireplace provided. The rest of the bush campsites in the Victoria Valley are still closed until possibly later in the year. I will upload the map or at least provide a link in the next day or so. It's late now and the part of my brain that allows me to understand the uploading concept has retired for the evening....
Cheers,
Tracey

I'd say it would be a good idea to take your own firewood if you are planning to stay at any of the Rosea campsites in the next little while. From my visit with PV a few weeks ago, it looked like everything combustible is already gone and the young regrowth probably could do without trampling!

I'm seriously amazed they still let campfires be lit up there... why not just make it a fuel stove only area?
