If a Melbourneite such as myself where to forego the usual Grampians bouldering trip in favour of 5 days exploratory bouldering in Bungonia Gorge, would I easily find a good deal of fun V8 and below problems (without a human guide), or would I get lost, shut down on hard stuff and annoyed that I had not simply gone to the gramps? If anyone knows what is there, how much there is and what the grade range and general quality is like I would love to know. Incidentally I have no interest in the big wall stuff everyone recommends, itís just the bouldering Iím after.
It depends(TM) how performance based your expectations are. Bungers has a wealth of good bouldering at all grades. Comitment and fbad landings are the norm. Good camping, great landscape. Would recomend a linked trip to the best granite on mainland oz the north black range.
