Hi, first visit in September, is there anywhere to camp with a camper trailer?
Cheers

Plenty of space to park but no powered sites if that's what you're after.

You'll find somewhere to fit. The carpark up at the Gums might be your best bet (go in the main entrance, take the right fork, then the next right).

Actually, I've always found it a little difficult to get a good trailer site because of the logs preventing vehicle access. There aren't many really flat spots in the pines carparking areas. The spots in the gums are in the main parking area too. OK during quiet periods.

I have Multi Combination (B Double) licence which would be a bit tricky doing a lap around the Pines. However a Heavy Combination (Single Semi) would be a peace of cake. So a camper trailer, no prob's. There are some nice spots to park up, which are reaonably level. This activity will requier you to setup outside the desinated camping (Tent) areas. I haven't heard of this being a problem before. Happy days.

As Pat said, the ones in Gums are in the main parking area, but it doesn't seem to stop school groups. I've also seen people park vans at the bottom of the North camp too.
