Hey I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas for possible new crags in Inner Sydney? I've been to all of the listed ones on Sun, Surf and Sandstone and they're pretty slim pickin's. Some (like thin wall next to the Glebe PCYC) are almost unclimbable due to the mosquitoes, crumbly rock and lack of height, etc. Dont judge me for climbing on Sydney crags, we don't all have the time to head out to the Blue mountains or make the 15hour trip to Araps so it'd be nice if there were just a decent crag to climb on real rock during the week.

Earlwood is a great inner west crag. Nice location, good rock and most of the routes are well bolted or have easy to access top-rope anchors.

So, John has been to ALL the crags listed on SS&S but found them generally "unclimbable" due to mosquitoes, crumbly rock, and lack of height.
To make sure he doesn't become disillusioned about climbing in/around Sydney I am prepared to reveal details of my secret, 60 metre high, limestone, fully grid-bolted and crash pad equipped, inner Sydney crag for a consideration! That consideration should be in the form of a large quantity of unmarked, low-denomination Au$ notes, delivered in a plain brown paper envelope.

Good, that will keep him away from the unclimbed 700m high granite spire I discovered in the back blocks of Alexandria last weekend.
