Hi,

Just after some info on what routes would be suitable in the bluies in january to do without being in the sun all day...
Im thinking sub 14 grade wise, mixed or full trad is fine..

What is tom thumb like in january?

cheers

Do Pyreaugh at Pindari. Grade 11, 3 pitches, easy access, in the shade all day.

It's a corker.

Tom Thumb is shit in january. But it is also shit in feb, mar, apr, may, jun, july, aug, sept, oct, nov, dec.

When it comes to quality easy routes... forget the Blueys and head to Victoria.

True

Tom Thumb and Marg Ridge both get a lot of sun, which is ok in this cool summer, but check the weather
Darkside near Morrorball is ok and gets sun at 2pm
Ditto Sweet dreams (but not such a good climb)
Phantom, Tombstone Wall Joseph, Hocus Pocus, El Dingle, Prolougue, Faith, at Piddo are all good, but start early as sun hits at 12ish
