G'day,
My wife and I are going to Tasmania in January, we are keen for some info on where the best lower grade sports climbing can be found (16-21). Happy to swap info on NZ Sports climbing as we have climbed at most of the crags here.
Cheers
Geoff

Hillwood, Blackwood Rocks and Sisters Beach has a few routes below 21. I've found there isn't alot of easy sports climbing in Tassie. Well, not easy for me anyway.

Geoff,
I spent five or so days at Hillwood recently and really enjoyed it. There's some photos here:

Whilst the easiest graded climb is 15, if you've got the time you can work up the grades. If you get comfortable on the nineteens there, there's heaps to do. Everything is well bolted and it's all very user friendly.
I found the Climb Northern Tasmania guide to be excellent for Hillwood. I would agree with previous comments about http://stores.lulu.com/thesarvo
There's free camping by the river at Batman Bridge (toilets/bbqs/small shelter/water).
Have fun!
Cheers,
Chris.

Agree Hillwood is the go. First place I led anything on sport and it has a reasonable range of grades.
