oh BRILLIANT thanks Neil! Ill have a good look at that.
Once I can reach the others, Ill get a consensus on who wants to do what but its great to have options and staying dry in any weather is a big plus.
I agree though that lugging stuff back and forth would be a pain and packing up daily is not an option I want to consider.
Im on a tethered phone in bad service at the moment so I cant check into it too much but as soon as Im back around wifi I most certainly will. Should be brilliant though if its easily locatable.... Not knowing what its like up there, I guess fire would be a bad option? :)
And Sabu, I agree completely with your sentiments. People who go around asking for food donation are not asking for food people are going to eat.. they hope to use things others might not. And Im with Neil on that one as well.. kudos to them!
I wonder if the people who are really against that have ever been on a prolonged trip.. I wouldn't think so.. all the long-term camping climbers Ive met have been doing it rough. PLUS its generally hard to keep a FT job when doing long trips away like that. So its slightly catch-22 if one is to be of the opinion that they should be free with their money, and not ask for donations, and be happy to pay X amount of money for as many nights as they choose to stay and that, further to this, if they cannot afford X amount of money, then they should not be out there... Blah. Waste your food and throw it out instead I guess
