Heya
Just wondering if there are any crags particually suited to top roping in the Bluies. Ive worked my way up from sport to runnout trad to death routes, and now feel like im ready to take on the challenges of top-roping (Im also looking for a non scary weekend out with some keen but inexperienced crew)
Been to the Dam Cliffs, Flake crack area at Piddo etc and that was great, just looking for something similar.
Got a rack, so dosnt really matter whats on top, so long as it can be accessed pretty easily.
Thanks guys, Sleake

Mt York for sure. Handy to have a good length of static rope or cord for rigging trees.

Yes - Mt York is probably the best - and easy to walk down to the base of the climbs too. And at this time of the year - you can follow the sun around the crag. For some of the climbs you may need to belay from the top.

Reservoir Dogs crag at Medlow. Two-pitch routes with top belay bolts. Rap in, climb out.

Sleake asks for yo-yo locales to take his inexperienced pals, and gets this recommendation. Now this I gotta see.

WTF?
There's a fully-bolted grade 15 climb that a mate climbed one-handed (literally).
Easy access? It doesn't get much easier than rapping into a huge grassy ledge in the sun.
No you're right Wollemi, beginners should just be taken to Barrenjoey or Bangor West.

I did the following the sun thing at York with beginners a few weeks ago. Went pretty well

Bunny Bucket Buttress has easily accessible top anchors but you'll need a 600m rope, and try not to fall off for the first couple of pitches.

Yeah 39m of stretch would be a killer...
