Hi all,

Just a quick one to advise there is currently a (deceased) kangaroo precisely on the walkin track to Sentinel Cave... quite early on, when you've got some shortish rock faces on your left. Keep an eye out so you can skirt around it.

Before you ask, nope, don't know how he met his fate, didn't fancy looking close enough to investigate.

There is another one on the side of the road between my place and where I work.

Yep saw it(and smelt it) Friday arvo...

From what I could make out from the scene, looks like he was solo-ing on Mini Castle Crag and took a ground fall, broke left leg and ruptured femoral artery. Managed to crawl a little ways up the track before succumbing to blood loss.

I think the one near my place had a terminal ground fall while trying to boulder a passing log truck or similar.
