this is a great quality Bouldering Mat / Crash Pad for use climbing/bouldering. It folds in half, clips together and has two back pack style straps for carrying like a backpack when you go walking out to bouldering / climbing sites.
It is in great condition. The outside (the black side), needs a wipe down as it is a bit dusty and dirty, but it is solid, clean and has no wear and tears in the joins, etc.
My husband used this when he was a climbing fanatic, but its been sitting around for 5 years just waiting to be used again.
Looking about, these mats, good quality and solid, usually sell for between $250 and $400. We would be happy to sell for $160 ono,
Can send via courier anywhere in Tasmania for $10, or can check out options to ship to Victoria via someone like Fastway Couriers (road service).

What brand is it and what condition is the foam in? How often did he use it?

Yeah I was going to say, gee it's got a black base, hinged and has backpack straps, that's descriptive ...

Hi, it is a custom made number by a climber here in Hobart. Foam is seamless multi-layer, high density on the outside with softer foam in the centre. No central seam – the mat just folds around. Fabric is cordura. It's been used, but probably only for a few trips realistically.

forgive the "descriptive" or lack there of information...I'm not a climber, and clearly have offended you all by not giving the "right" information. How much more can a non climber say really - its foam, its black, it has straps, its in good nick...
hope the additional info helps (see message above)

I am selling it as we need to clear out the garage space for my business and before our baby arrives, so time is ticking, and I want to get things under way and my husband hasn't had time to get it listed.

I'm about to buy a boulder mat and I was tempted to buy this as I live in Tasmania, but it is too expensive. For an extra $40 I can get a brand new mad rock mad pad or the red chilli 12cm pad from bigjohn and they have adjustable straps and are heaps schmicker in general. I reckon you have to drop the price.

Where can you get the Mad rock or Red Chili pads for 200 dollars? Is that an in store special? Very interested. The Commando pad on BJ's website looks like a good budget pad for my needs.

It's a bit tricky to find but it's on the home page on the add that scrolls through free shipping, pusher, organic etc. You just have to wait until the pad sale add comes up
You should check it out. He has a Revolution Mission for $270 and you save $120 on the mad pad.
