"tell him he's dreamin..."
I would check out carsales or ebay before looking at this one. you can fit a van out and still have a couple of grand change left over.
these things would make a really cool climbers van though. and you can get them for 5 or 6 grand.

Quick look at Carsales. Series one with 131K listed at $5800.
Series 2 with 80k listed at $7500. I reckon you could get the series 1 at $5200 and the series 2 at $6800. Plenty of them around.
Folding seat bed thingy $600-$800 if you get a second hand one fitted. In NSW it would have to be an approved fitting and then blue slip to change rego from 2 seats to 4 if you can be bothered.

It's longer than you'd think - the front passenger seat flips all the way forward with storage underneath. A climbing pack or duffel bag on top brings the whole thing up to the height of the bed. I'm 6 foot and stretch out comfortably with room to spare. Behind the driver's seat is a wee bit shorter of course.
We're selling because our family has outgrown it, so it's back to packing up a wet tent after rainy weekends.

We had the rear seat/ bed and seatbelts made up and signed off in Sydney, so it's licenced for 4 passsengers. At the time we set it up in 2007 there were relatively few around, certainly hardly any with rear seats.
