A bargain: $100 O.N.O. for...
1 "SIOUX" model, blue, Salewa ice tool/hammer.
Straight shaft, fixed pick, steel spike (not a cheap "cut-off" shaft).
Includes leash.
Perfect condition (I've never climbed with it)
(I bought this as a spare tool but now have too many "spare" tools and need to clear out some space)
A solid tool. No flashy gizmos just a basic, reliable hammer/pick.
Inspection welcome. Melbourne, Eastern suburbs.
Post contact details here or email animaland at yahoo dot com.

Yep, I've still got it folks.
If you want to email me a phone number I'll give you a call and you can have a look at it (and a swing).
Alternatively, if you're keen I can take a photo of it and post it online sometime later this week. Then if
you like what you see I can mail the tool to you directly - depends on how close to Melbourne you live as
to whether a look-and-swing is convenient.

OK, here's a picture of it for you. The silver thing through the hole in the head is just a hook on the door
where I hung it to take a photo. Its not part of the axe (just in case you were wondering what it was). The
leash is made by Salewa and operates with a double D-ring.
Cheers,
Alan

Ummmm.... that's a good question. I forget!
Its shorter than 50cm... maybe around 40cm? Not much help I know. I will measure it tonight (somebody
else asked me that too but I forget what the answer was)
Sorry :-( I'll post length tomorrow

OK, its 40cm from the top of the shaft to the tip.
I'm not fussed about waiting for highest bidders so whoever pays for it first can have it.
Happy climbing! With weather like today it wouldn't surprise me if there was snow out there somewhere.

Guess what? A certain shop is selling these tools now at significantly reduced rates, which means my
price is way out of line.
Since its not yet sold I'll take the price down to $50. Now that's a bargain! I gotta sell this tool before my
partner will let me buy any more gear :-( Somebody please put me out of my misery :-)
