I have 4 and no longer climb.
1 x Ocun Paddy Fat ( Foldable Hinge Large )
2 x Mountain Designs ( Foldable Hinge Small )
1 x Flashed ( Taco Type )

My German Short Haired pointer likes to sleep on them. I guess it's a dogs bed worth about $1300.

I'm in Melb ( Essendon North )

I will give it to you for $80. I might be a bit dusty, but it is a bloody good pad. Anyway, if that suits, we can catch up and I will show it you.

Good score S4A.

Etbrown, I'm sorry to say this, but you lose.

When people post these 'wanted to buy' threads, they really should keep an eye on the thread. It's very presumptuous to think that someone is going to actually go out of their way to get in contact with you about something they didn't really need to sell in the first place.

Etbrown, hopefully you will manage to score one of these pads but just posting "I want a pad" doesn't really cut it, if you know what I mean. You would have done yourself a big favour by including a contact number and an email address in your initial post, especially if you don't visit the site very often.

Well, he mustn't want a pad that badly then. That Ocun pad is a huge bargain for $80.

Crash Pad status;

1 x Ocun Paddy Fat SOLD This morning to a good home in Bendigo $80 Bucks

The other 3 now belong to My German Shorthaired Pointer. Well actually he became really pissed off when I tried to take them away from him!

Who cares anyway, after 23years of Climbing and Bouldering, I'm kind of over it. Ultra Marathons and Downhill Mountain Bike Racing is where it's at. Nothing like total body destruction, inside and out.

All the best,

Richie

Great article attached. Not into swimming but the running, very much so. It has consumed my life the very way climbing did. Now that my climbing partners have taken to raising families and surfing, i find peace through running. You do not need a training partner, and you can do it when ever you want. I sometimes get up at 3am to get a two hour training run in before work.
Ultra running is a very pers thing. The scene is very different to half / full marathon. Even better are the cross country ultras. fancy running from the base of Mt. Bogong up the staircase to the summit then on to the summit of Mt. Hotham? Fantastic experience.
AURA ; Australian Ultra Runners Assoc is very much like, say the VCC. A governing body looking after the interests of ultra runners. Most people would not of even heard of AURA let alone ultra running.
Anyway, I still love getting on CS to see what is going on in the world of climbing. Familiar names in familiar places, on unfamiliar territory.
Climbers are amazing people, All walks of life, all abilities, different ambitions. Nothing like camping with your mates, a raging fire, plenty of grog, a badly tuned guitar, and relentless bullshit stories from the days efforts.

Happy cranking

Hey Rocker, whats impressive is those men and women who do it barefoot, now that is incredible. Much like those barefoot climbers I guess.

Some though do. Unfortunately I've only managed one Ultra - only 68km and even that was whilst still trying to come back from injury. Hence why I'm focussing on racing bikes these days. Still trying to incorporate some running again so I can get some more Ultras in. The rooftop run would be one of them for sure! ;-)

The Rooftop run is an amazing event. The hardest over such a short (65km) distance. The GOW is another amazing event. 100km or 100ml ( 160km) Runs from Apollo Bay to the Apostles via a coastal track.

Dalai, have you done 6ft track? Blue Mtns, Katoomba to Jenolan Caves. 45km
