What sort of components does it have? Brakes, derailer, fork?

The front suspension wants upgrading if you want to do more biking than I do. V brakes and derailers are cheap shimano factory fitted stuff. If I was to keep it I'd upgrade the brakes and forks, then if I got serious I'd start docking weight and improve the gearing.
The frame is nice and light though, if I were to build a bike I'd start with one like it

What do the stickers on the rear derailer, brakes and front derailer say? Deore, STX or XT

The brakes are shimano STR and gearing is Shimano LX
I'm flying out on the 9th so give me a call if your interested so can make it shiny and show it round

It's worth more than $300 if its in good nick. However, I am a student and I would like a bike.
I'll waste your time with an offer of $130 and a promise that it would go to a good home.

That's what I'm tring to say, this is a bargain
