In October 2007, Xtreme Adventures is running two trips to Nepal where you will be guided by Tika Bahadur Tamang, the Sherpa who, in mid May this year, summated Everest - not once, but twice in one week.

Accompanied by Tika and our experienced Western Guide, you have the option of these two inspiring trips:

25 day Khumbu Circuit Trek - taking in the breathtaking Gokyo Lakes, Cho La Pass, Everest Base Camp, and the famous Tengboche Monastery.

OR

31 day Everest Base Camp, Lobuche East, and Island Peak mountaineering expedition - following the Khumbu Circuit Trek you will be given the chance to summit two 6,000m plus Himalayan peaks. No climbing experience necessary.

Mention Chockstone and you will receive a 10% discount on prices listed in our Live Nepal - October 2007 brochure.

For a brochure, email info@xtremeadventures.net.au

Presumably you missed the sticky, highlighted topic stating that spam will be deleted.

Or maybe you didn't, but you just thought you'd post it here anyway. Twice.

You can save a fortune by DOING IT YOURSELF!

Fly to Kathmandu, then get $50 flight to Lukla, get yourself to Namche and start walking with the rest of the trekkers.

He'll be charging around $2400 and if you sort yourself out in Thamel, the same trip will be around $1000. There again, you don't get to tell your mates you trekked with a guy thats been to the top of the world. Ahhh the price to pay for bragging!

According to the ad, Tika Bahadur Tamang didnt stand on top of everest, he just stood somewhere else in the world and gave a summary of what the peak was like. Ohhhh I see, he summited :)
