FOR SALE: La Sportiva Solutions, size 40, brand new!
Never worn on rock or in gym - pulled on a couple of times with plastic bags but they are too small for me.
Asking $AUD190 including postage in Australia.. That's cheaper than US (usd170 + shipping), on par with Europe and definitely cheaper than Australia!!
PayPal preferred, direct deposit accepted also.
Also have a pair of La Sportiva Katana Lace, size 40.5, very good condition, lots of rubber.. $120

b) $USD152 = $AUD166 before shipping, so still a good deal!

Im not going to go into detail, but I love solutions. And testarossas.. . and have never paid more than 130 INCLUDING shipping for them , new. This isn't my size, so I have no interest in buying them, just saying...retail outlets such as m&*ntain eq#$pment are for ill informed wealthy compulsive shoppers. lower your price and know your shoe size.

Umm, could you please go into detail and educate this ill-informed retail shopper? (This isn't my size either, so I'm not a potential buyer)

Yeah $130 is pretty damn savvy shopping! Is someone getting mates rates...? I just checked spadout.com, and theres nothing cheaper than about $150 US, which is $170 au. Plus shipping and two weeks of package delivery shenanigans.
Aus retail has actually been competitive the last year or two, if you want to look at something first and/or need it for tomorrow. Buying from the states isnt an automatic bargain anymore.

I'm happy to negotiate of someone is legit and pays straight away. However, these are still a good deal regardless of other prices.
A) AUD to USD is 0.90ish (by xe.com) So if you can find them for $150USD it works out to $168.60 AUD...
B) shipping/postage is usually about $9.95 within Australia... Backcountrygear.com quotes about $40USD
C) no good comparing a price from a website that can't/doesn't/won't send La Sportiva outside North America or have same size available
D) regardless of who you buy from, these are about $100 cheaper than retail in Oz
