When did you buy that harness? A little internet research suggests that that is a 2008 colour. 5 years is pretty old for a harness even if you haven't been using it. You'll probably find manufacturers don't reccommend using gear that old. Most people wouldn't be that fussed, but it is worth anyone buying it knowing how old it is. It also probably doesn't make it worth $70. Usual mantra - you can buy it from the states for less than that.

I don't like doing this, but those shoes are pretty old too, the paddy pallin outlet at fitzroy are selling them for $50

Old and relatively unused is OK, provided items are undamaged by UV light, chemicals, etc..
Price is another matter...

Alright thanks for the slamming, but I can take away a few pointers which is helpful! I haven't climbed for years and these have been moving house with me and sitting in my cupboard. I'll update the info i have and make it WILL TAKE ANY OFFERS + postage for both of them cos there's no point me hanging onto them.
