Moving to Canada pretty soon and cleaning out the cupboard. I have a New England Maxim 9.9mm 70m 2x Dry I want to sell. I climbed on it for 2 days so it is pretty much as new. PM me for pictures.

Not sure what to charge, lets say $250 but happy to go down on that.
(I will beat any price that someone manages to find on some random mail order gear store:)
On a side note if anyone has done climbing in BC, Canda would be really interested to hear about it. I am going to living in Nelson which is in the West Kootenay's.

Hey Lachlan,
Nelson has the best ski hill in Canada! Whitewater. Even better on tele gear! :-)
There is a gym in town. June and Merrick also run the shuttle to the ski hill. Merrrick writes a small guide to the areas around town. I have one here somewhere but you should be able to get a more up to date one in town really easily. June is an expat Aussie. Nice people. Great town. Much scary, crazy mountainbiking, too.

For the more famous climbing areas, you are 10 hours from Squamish, 4 hours from Skaha and 6 hours from Lake Louise. Squamish is granite which is better quality than anything in Australia, Skaha is vertical sport climbing - pretty good but it's in some picturesque settings with some of the best free camping, and Lake Louise is both sport and trad (I think?) on really solid rock in a really really picturesque setting.

Thanks for the info will look up June and Merrick. I was already thinking about a trip or two to Squamish.
It looks like the gym closed down but there are plans to build a new one by fall. Also there is quite a lot of bouldering around Nelson which looks pretty good.

Also I am keen to sell the rope so will sell for $200 ono. I am Sydney based and head up the MT's every weekend if that would make delivery easier.
