I bought a pair of the Salomon Women's XA PRO 3D Ultra 2 GTX Trail Running Shoes -

(in the "Dark Cloud/Light Onix/Bay Blue" colour).

After wearing them for about a week, I've decided they are too small. I am typically a 38, but these appear to run small. They are an awesome all round outdoor shoe, including for trail running. I don't know if you can get them in Australia (I got them in Canada). For sizing info I think you would want to be an Australian size 7 or 6.5 for them to fit properly.
