I think you have to give more information.

What routes have you failed on? Is it a particular style of climb your not doing well? If so, maybe you should just train in that area.

Have a go at some other style routes.. maybe your better on crack, or face, or slab.

Also if your of larger build, cant hurt to try and shed it I guess.

I think my limit of climbing ability leading is on the horizon and in plain sight now which means I have to start training for better technique, thinking about my moves better, improving my rope management, and then can think about stamina and then later, strength.

Dont know if that helps, Im sure its obvious but just my take. Im a bumbly too though
